Research- Cole Thompson

As I'm still looking at three different threads of the journeys/road trip theme, I'm still interested in the way the car is tret, so how people love them and also what happens to them once their journey is over.

I found Cole Thompson's work due to one of my other modules and his set called "Old Things" has some very nice, high contrast, stunning black and white images of run down cars and wrecks he's come across.


Something I particularly loved about the series was how he often changed angles and the framing of things. And how every single time he had them done perfectly. It made me think more about composition and framing in my own work.
