Another Video

It's another time lapse video that compresses a seven day road trip from LA to New York into four minutes. It's interesting and the car is a great too being vintage and having the top down means the camera gets to see so much more. I also liked the phone message at the beginning. Not so keen on the rest of the soundtrack but it does seem to blend well with what you see.

The video's by a director called Olivier Gondry and the film is called "Behind"

This video I came across is pretty relevant given the rain and its effects on travel is something I was looking at on the photographic side of things. It's a simple and not really long video but I like the experimentation in it.

I also came across a short film by Taiwan based film maker Ho Wing Ding called "Summer Afternoon". It's a different take on road trips, following a narrative. I had initially considered a narrative, perhaps a sinister one and while I haven't thought much more about this idea. It was an interesting short film to watch.

I can't get hold of a clip that I can embed here, but I'll link to the site that has a trailer on it.
